ARCHITECTURE
BY BKSK

OLD IS NEW
This is authentically Tribeca. Thoughtfully modernized. Classic architecture, completely reimagined. The exterior Facade featuring a rusticated brick base and beautifully preserved brickwork, nods to history by incorporating classic terra cotta reinterpreted in a modern design . From the minds of BKSK Architects, one of New York’s most acclaimed luxury residential firms.

A MARQUEE
ARRIVAL
Brick and stone detailing frames the eye-catching forged metal entry canopy. Oversized bronze and glass entry doors lead to the 24-hour attended lobby, highlighted with a vaulted ceiling. Envisioned by noted designer and Tribeca neighbor Thomas Juul-Hansen, the focal point is the glass back wall overlooking the enchanting sculptural courtyard.

THE TRANSFORMATION OF 11 BEACH'S EXTERIOR FAÇADE IS CONTEXTUALLY APPROPRIATE TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD; IT WILL MAKE THIS BUILDING EVEN MORE OF WHAT TRIBECA IS. UPDATING THE WINDOWS WILL GIVE THE BUILDING AN INDUSTRIAL QUALITY

SCULPTURAL
COURTYARD

An architectural surprise sprouts in Tribeca. BKSK Architects created a dramatic courtyard atrium. The sculptural window openings are surrounded by bow-tie, Boston Valley hand-glazed terra cotta. At the base, an origami-shaped glass pyramid creates a visual anchor and illuminates the concourse amenity level.
